Graduation season is always a time of joy and pride at the School of Hope! This year, we celebrated milestones from kindergarten to high school, with students, families, and even a few visiting sponsors coming together to honour their achievements. It’s incredible to see how far our students have come, and we’re so excited for what lies ahead. 

For the second year in a row, the amazing team at Hair Aid made their way to the School of Hope, bringing their passion and expertise on the art of hairstyling.

This past June, we kicked off an exciting nail art workshop at the School of Hope. Thanks to the support from our friends at Project Apoyo, ten women joined us for 26 classes over the summer, learning everything from basic manicures to intricate Gelish techniques—all with the goal of creating new income opportunities for themselves.

At the School of Hope, we kicked off September with an incredible week of festivities to celebrate Guatemala’s Independence! This year, our students took the lead, showcasing Guatemala’s diverse regions and rich cultural heritage through daily assemblies.

Today, our school was filled with enthusiasm and energy as we celebrated our career fair, an event where our scholarship students, now in high school, had the opportunity to share their academic experiences with the 9th-grade students.

Today was an extraordinary day at The School of Hope. Our 8th-grade students led an assembly on a very important topic: Stop Bullying.

We organised an exciting maths fair at the school, bringing together students, teachers, and community members to explore the fun side of mathematics, with CYFEMAT joining us for the day.

We were visited agin by students of the Early Childhood and Pre-Primary Education Teaching Programme at Rafael Landivar University. They spent a Saturday engaging our youngest students with their creative EducaBoxes, presenting innovative activities and learning games.
