Why Guatemala?
Guatemala is home to talented young people with incredible potential, but many face challenges that make it harder to reach their goals. Too many families experience poverty, food insecurity, violence, and limited access to quality education and healthcare. Sadly, fewer than one in five adults have completed upper secondary education.
At the Education for the Children Foundation, we work alongside students and families to overcome these challenges.
Through education, nutrition, healthcare, mental health support, and career pathways, we help build the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to create brighter futures for themselves, their families, and their communities.
