Stop Bullying: An Assembly Led by Our Brave 8th Graders

Today was an extraordinary day at The School of Hope. Our 8th-grade students led an assembly on the important topic of bullying. Both informative and inspiring, our young leaders spoke about the importance of empathy and respect among peers, highlighting that together we can tackle this issue.

Bullying is an alarming reality in Guatemala. According to the Ministerio de Educación (Mineduc), 34% of students report having been victims of bullying. This statistic underscores the urgency of taking concrete actions to protect our children and young people.

At the School of Hope, we are committed to eradicating bullying. We conduct educational campaigns that foster an environment of respect and empathy, and our dedicated psychosocial team provides constant support to students. We firmly believe that every child deserves a safe and welcoming school environment.

How You Can Help

We can all be part of the change. We invite our community and everyone who wants to contribute to support our Nurture Network initiative, which focuses on the well-being and community of our school. Donations from you allow us to continue these campaigns and provide the support our students need. Learn more here: Nurture Network.

Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. Together, we can create an environment where all children feel safe and valued.

Join us in the fight against bullying and help build a better future for our students! 🌟
