We are excited to present the latest episode in our Voices of Hope podcast series: "Empowering Young Women" 👩‍🎓🎙️. In this very special episode, we highlight the inspiring story of Jane and Tom, sponsors at Education for the Children Foundation (EFTC), and their sponsored student Jennifer, a talented young woman and scholarship recipient at the foundation.

In an exciting school project, they organised themselves into groups to prepare and present theatre plays with all their overflowing creativity. From the classic Little Red Riding Hood to the funny adventures of Tom and Jerry, they delighted us with amazing performances.

The second day of celebration at The School of Hope left us in awe with their 20th Anniversary Talent Show. The middle school playground became the center of attention as our talented students from all grades demonstrated their dancing and singing skills.

On Monday, after the carnival party that marked the beginning of our 20th anniversary celebration, we prepared to welcome our beloved sponsors, visitors, volunteers and donors to The School of Hope. Excitement was in the air as we entered into a day full of special activities that we had lovingly prepared.

Health is critical! At our school, we recognize the importance of caring for all aspects of our students' and staff's health. For that reason, we are excited and grateful to be able to have the help of the Fundacion Sonrisas que Escuchan.

The monthly meetings have been an enriching experience for our 6th and 1st grade students, giving them the opportunity to improve their reading and writing skills, and awakening their love for letters.

Volunteering is one of the best ways to contribute and make a positive difference in the world. In Guatemala, we have been fortunate to have the support of incredible volunteers, such as Gunner and Whitman, who recently visited our country to lead a math program at The School of Hope.

Integrated learning and fun came together at The School of Hope! On Saturday, June 3rd, students from the Early Childhood and Pre-Primary Education course of the Rafael Landívar University presented the Educabox, a unique educational tool that combines Children's Literature, Literacy and Pre-Mathematics at the Pre-Primary level.

The 9th Grade Career Meeting has left a mark on our students! It was an exciting and enriching activity that gave them the opportunity to explore and get closer to the careers they are passionate about.
