Gratitude. Generosity. Attitude.

This past week, I had the opportunity to volunteer at Education for the Children Foundation teaching English at a school in Guatemala that provides access to education and meals to children. It’s an incredible project doing vital work for kids of all ages.
The experience was deeply fulfilling, and I walked away with a few takeaways:
Gratitude – The students showed pure joy and appreciation for even the smallest things like a sticker. It reminded me how much we often take for granted, and how much more meaningful life becomes when we choose to appreciate the little things.
Generosity – Beyond the hundreds of hugs, the kids gifted me drawings and insisted I take some of their toys. The fact that they have so little and are still eager to give so much left a lasting impression. Generosity isn’t about how much you give, it's about the spirit with which you give.
Attitude – These children radiated positivity and gave their best every day, despite incredibly difficult circumstances. Their joy was contagious. It reinforced for me that attitude is everything and it can carry you through the toughest of moments.
