Every year the School of Hope welcomes a new group of Prepa students with great excitement. Our teachers and the entire school staff prepare every corner of the school with love and dedication. The classrooms come alive with vibrant colors, bright materials, inspiring murals and educational materials such as books, markers, crayons and colored pencils. These walls will witness laughter, joy, but also small stumbles and frustrations that will become lifelong lessons and learnings experiences.

Today our Prepa classrooms need Amigos to make them shine brighter. By sponsoring these classes you will not only be helping with materials, equipment and contributing to our teachers' salaries and the nutrition of our little ones. You will be helping to make their dreams come true.

Cada año la Escuela La Esperanza recibe con mucha emoción a un nuevo grupo de alumnos de preparatoria. Nuestros maestros y todo el personal de colegio se encargan de preparar con mucho amor y dedicación cada rincón de la escuela. Las aulas cobran vida con colores vibrantes, materiales brillantes, murales inspiradores y materiales educativos como libros, marcadores, crayones y lápices de colores. Estas paredes serán testigo de risas, alegrías, pero también de pequeños tropiezos y frustraciones que se convertirán en aprendizajes y lecciones para toda la vida.

Hoy nuestras aulas de preparatoria necesitan un Amigo que las haga brillar más. Al patrocinar estas clases no solo estarás ayudando a los materiales, equipos y contribuyendo al salario de nuestras maestras y la nutrición de nuestros pequeñitos. Estarás ayudando a cumplir sus sueños en realidad. 

Although they are still very young, our little Prepas already have big dreams. Some want to be astronauts, doctors, artists or engineers, each of them has a clear idea of what they want to become.

At Education For The Children Foundation we work every day so that our students receive a quality education and have the necessary tools to succeed. But there is still an important step we must take: to get the sponsorship that will allow classes to continue to be a space for opportunity and growth.

Aunque aún son muy pequeños, nuestros pequeños Prepas ya tienen grandes sueños. Algunos quieren ser astronautas, doctores, artistas o ingenieros, cada uno tiene claro lo que quiere llegar a ser.

En Education For The Children Foundation trabajamos cada día para que nuestros niños reciban una educación de calidad y cuenten con las herramientas necesarias para lograr el éxito. Pero, aun hay un paso importante que debemos dar: conseguir el patrocinio que permita que clases sigan siendo un espacio de oportunidades y crecimiento.

Por eso, hoy queremos invitarte a acompañarnos en un recorrido por nuestras clases, para que puedas conocer más de cerca a este grupo de Prepas llenos de energía, creatividad, talentos y sobre todo un deseo inmenso de aprender.

Prepa A

Prepa A has a special essence, the children are very loving, creative, intelligent and capable of performing different activities with energy and enthusiasm. Doris, their teacher, tells us that everyone is amazed by their abilities. From the first greeting to the last goodbye, these little ones always teach her something new.

Prepa A, tiene una esencia especial, los niños son muy amorosos, creativos, inteligentes y capaces de realizar distintas actividades con energía y entusiasmo. Doris, su maestra, nos cuenta que todos se asombra con las habilidades que tienen. Desde el primer saludo hasta el ultimo adios, estos pequeños siempre le enseñan algo nuevo.

The group is usually very quiet, but when lunchtime comes... everything changes. Gerson Fernando and Joshua Emanuel start telling jokes to make the whole class laugh. Honestly on some days they make us laugh a lot. And if we talk about contagious laughter, Abdiel Isaac takes the prize. Every time the class watches a movie and something funny happens he bursts out laughing. His explosive laughter makes the whole room end up laughing.

Creativity is their best calling card. They draw, sing and dance without fear. And when it comes to dancing, the girls have found their favorite song: the famous and contagious dance of René the Frog. It is also amazing how they are able to transform any material, even a simple piece of paper, into a work of art. That's why every week, their teacher seeks to include a craft that helps them practice and reinforce what they have learned in class.

El grupo suele ser muy tranquilo, pero cuando llega la hora del almuerzo… todo cambia.  Gerson Fernando y Joshua Emanuel comienzan a contar chistes para que toda la clase se ría.  Sinceramente en algunos días nos hacen reír mucho. Y si hablamos de risas contagiosas, Abdiel Isaac se lleva el premio. Cada vez que la clase ve una película y ocurre algo gracioso él suelta una risa a carcajadas. Su risa explosiva hace que todo el salón termine riéndose.

La creatividad es su mejor carta de presentación. Ellos dibujan, cantan y bailan sin miedo. Y si de baile se trata, las niñas han encontrado su canción favorita: el famoso y contagioso baile de la Rana René. Es sorprendente también como son capaces de transformar cualquier material incluso una simple hoja de papel en una obra de arte. Por eso cada semana, su maestra busca incluir una manualidad que los ayude a practicar y reforzar lo aprendido en clase.

Prepa B

If there is one thing that defines Prepa B, it is their collaborative spirit. These little ones are always willing to help their classmates. This group enjoys using their colors to express themselves. They spend hours drawing and painting. They enjoy using small pieces of paper and legos to let their imaginations run wild. They concentrate so hard creating these little masterpieces that when recess comes there is no way to stop them. That's when it's time to release their energy and they do it by running around the school yard.

Si hay algo que define a Prepa B es su espíritu colaborador. Estos pequeños están siempre dispuestos a ayudar a sus compañeros. Este grupo disfruta usar sus colores para expresarte. Ellos pasan horas dibujando y pintando. Disfrutan mucho usar pequeños pedazos de papel y legos para dejar volar su imaginación. Se concentran tanto creando estas pequeñas obras maestras que cuando llega el recreo no hay quien los detengan. Es ahí el momento de liberar su energía y lo hacen corriendo en el patio del colegio.

This group has a big heart. Ariadna is always making sure that all her classmates keep their plates and utensils in the right place. Celeste, on the other hand, shares her knowledge and takes on the role of teacher. She teaches her friends how to tie their shoes with love and patience.

And that's not all... Rita, the classroom teacher, told us how the students used the emotional box when one of their classmates was feeling sad. They found his tool on their own and looked for ways to support their classmates. It is amazing how at such a young age, children can show such empathy toward one another.

Este grupo tiene un gran corazón. Ariadna siempre está pendiente de que todos sus compañeros guarden en el lugar correcto sus platos y cubiertos. Celeste, por otro lado, comparte sus conocimientos y toma el papel de maestra. Ella les ensena a sus amigas como amarrarse los zapatos con mucho cariño y paciencia.

Y eso no es todo… Rita la maestra del aula nos contó cómo los alumnos hacen uso de la caja de caja emocional cuando alguno de sus compañeros se siente triste. Ellos solos buscan esta herramienta y buscan de qué manera brindarles apoyo a sus compañeritos. Es increíble cómo a tan corta edad, los niños pueden tener estos gestos de empatía con sus compañeros de aula.
